Sheep are passive mobs that spawn in grassy, well-lit areas. Sheep can spawn with white, light grey, grey, black, brown or pink wool.

Shears are the best way to harvest wool from a sheep, yielding 3-4 blocks of wool. Killing the sheep will only yield 1 block of wool.

Dyes can be applied directly to a sheep, and shearing colored sheep will produce colored wool.
