Doors provide a convenient entrance that you can open and close. Iron doors can only be toggled by switches.
Placing two doors next to each other will form double doors.
Doors are placed on the edge of a tile, so place your door from the outside of your house so that you can attack mobs on the outside but they cannot attack you.
